Preformed Line Products 8000723 PIPE PLUG BONDING KIT18″ (457) of 9 insulated Bonding Braid with pipe plugThe PREFORMED Pipe Plug Bonding Kit, when applied with Shield Connectors, provides a low-resistance, non-fluctuating, high-current capacity bond and ground connection in cast iron and aluminum splice cases. Kit consists of heavy, flexible braid securely connected to a specially designed pipe plug. Braid is fed through plug hole and plug is securely tightened in place. Free end of braid is joined to cable sheath by Shield Connector. Additional braid is used to connect all cable sheaths to pipe plug, completing permanent bond and ground connection. Special pipe plug has a bright yellow tab to identify it as a ground connection.
