The Most Versatile Anchor for Your Workbench
The Wilton 5.5″ Apprentice Multi-Purpose Vise is the ultimate solution for shops that deal with more than just flat stock. Delivering a powerful 8,300 lbs. of clamping force, this vise features a 360° rotating head and base, allowing you to secure material at any angle for the perfect work position. Whether you’re working vertically, horizontally, or at an offset, the 30° indexing increments make setup fast and repeatable.
Constructed from 72,000 PSI ductile iron—twice as strong as standard grey iron—this vise is built for the professional who demands durability without excessive weight. The multi-purpose jaw design includes integrated pipe jaws and a V-jaw for holding round or irregular objects with total confidence. A large built-in anvil provides a dedicated space for striking and forming, while dual lockdowns ensure the vise stays exactly where you put it. Backed by Wilton’s Lifetime Warranty, the WVA5.5MP is a professional-grade tool designed for a lifetime of service.
